FAQ
Common questions
Can any image become a rug?
Most designs work — but the simpler the shapes, the better. Photo-realistic images with fine gradients usually need to be simplified into bold color areas first. We'll tell you upfront if yours needs adjustment.
Do I pay before review?
No. Submission and review are free. You only pay once we've approved your design and sent you a Shopify invoice with the final price.
What file types work best?
PNG, JPG, PDF, and SVG. High-resolution and high-contrast files give us the most to work with. Crisp logos, clean vectors, and well-lit photos of your design are ideal.
How long does review take?
We aim to respond within 1–3 business days. Rush requests are flagged in the form and prioritized when possible.
What happens if my design is denied?
You'll receive a polite explanation — typically either a production limitation (too detailed for tufting) or a copyright/IP concern. No payment is ever taken from a denied request.
Can I request changes after I submit?
Yes. Just reply to the confirmation email with your updated file or revised details and we'll fold them into the review.
Can you make copyrighted characters or logos?
Only with documented permission. We don't reproduce trademarked or copyrighted artwork without proof you own the rights or have a license to use it. This protects you and us both.
